SSA End-of-Year To-Do List
Currently Enrolled Families
Due May 31
The current SSA academic year officially ends May 31! Below are the items needed for ALL current students:
Renew: Renewals for summer and/or next academic year are due May 31. Click here to renew.
Students who have not renewed by the due date will be withdrawn after May 31 and would need to re-enroll as a new student for the next academic year by completing our new student registration form.
Course Completion & End of Year Reporting
If you are using SSA’s online curriculum
Academic Completion: All coursework should be completed by May 31, unless the student is continuing into summer or the next academic year. SSA maintains course progress and attendance records for students using SSA’s online curriculum, so separate semester academic reporting is not required.
If you are NOT using SSA's online curriculum and are using parent-provided curriculum
Semester Reporting is due May 31. Click here to complete Semester Reporting.
Complete the SSA Semester Reporting Form for each student. This form is used to submit end of year grades, attendance certification, and any course plan changes. By submitting the attendance certification, the parent/guardian attests that the student completed the required instructional attendance for the academic year. Families using parent-provided curriculum should ensure that all reported information is accurate and that submitted coursework meets SSA’s requirements for verifiable curriculum, academic documentation, and credit eligibility. Make sure to include the subject/course names, curriculum/program names, and final letter grades. Supporting documentation may be uploaded with the semester reporting form Courses reported for one semester are assumed to represent 0.5 credit unless otherwise noted. Late semester reporting will result in late processing fees. Failure to submit required semester reporting may also result in incomplete academic records, delays in transcript or diploma processing, administrative review of coursework, required placement in SSA’s approved curriculum program, inactive student status, or withdrawal from SSA. Failure to submit required academic reporting for both Semester 1 and Semester 2 may result in the student’s academic record being finalized based only on available information, ineligibility for transcript or diploma processing, required placement in SSA’s approved curriculum program for continued enrollment, and/or withdrawal from SSA for failure to meet school reporting requirements.
