Curricula Options
Families may select their own curriculum and complete SSA’s required course planning, attendance, grading, and semester reporting, or purchase access to one of SSA’s online curriculum programs. Families using an SSA online curriculum do not need to submit a separate course plan, maintain or report attendance, submit parent-assigned grades, or complete SSA’s semester reporting forms. SSA uses the curriculum provider’s records to prepare semester report cards and maintain the student’s academic record. Parents remain responsible for providing daily educational supervision, monitoring progress, and ensuring coursework is completed.
Elementary Curriculum Options
SSA offers two online curriculum options for students in Kindergarten through Grade 5. Families may choose the option that best matches their student’s learning needs, preferred level of structure, and budget.
Personalized Core Learning Package
$350 per academic year
SSA’s Personalized Core Learning Package provides structured, flexible support in foundational elementary academic subjects.

Exact Path uses adaptive diagnostic assessments to identify each student’s current skill level and create individualized learning pathways tailored to their academic needs. As students progress, the platform continuously adjusts instruction to reinforce growth and target skill development.

Brainzy provides engaging interactive games and activities designed to strengthen foundational academic skills through fun, age-appropriate practice.

Starfall offers additional support in early literacy, reading development, phonics, and foundational mathematics through highly engaging interactive instruction.

Printable grade-level workbook resources are also included to provide offline reinforcement, hands-on practice, and additional structured support across elementary subject areas, including science and social studies.

Edmentum Online Curriculum (Grades K–5)
$950 per academic year
Edmentum's Comprehensive Elementary Online Curriculum provides a structured, full-year digital program for students in grades K–5 through Edmentum Courseware Elementary. This option is designed for families who want a ready-to-use online curriculum while maintaining the flexibility of parent-supported learning at home.
Courseware Elementary includes standards-aligned courses in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Art, Health, and Physical Education. Lessons are designed for younger learners and include videos, animations, visual supports, guided practice, projects, and built-in assessments. Students access their subjects in one organized online platform, making it easier for families to follow progress and keep coursework structured.
