Transfer Senior Diploma Service

Credit Verification, Transcript Evaluation, and Diploma Processing — $1,000

Sunshine State Academy K–12 offers a limited Transfer Senior Diploma Service for current-year high school seniors who have completed most or all of their high school coursework through another documented educational program but need final credit verification, transcript evaluation, and diploma processing.

This service may be appropriate for students who have completed coursework through a prior school, county homeschool registration, online provider, umbrella/private school, international or other state private program, or other documented educational setting and need a private school to evaluate and finalize their graduation records.

This option is not a full-year enrollment program and does not include curriculum, tutoring, credit recovery, ongoing academic support, or daily oversight.

The Transfer Senior Diploma Service may include:

  • Review of prior academic records

  • Credit verification

  • Transcript evaluation

  • Graduation requirement review

  • Transfer credit determination

  • Final transcript preparation, if eligible

  • Diploma processing, if eligible

  • One official final transcript

Eligibility and Documentation

To be considered for this option, the student must be a current-year senior and must have already completed most or all required high school credits before applying. Families must provide sufficient documentation for completed coursework. Documentation may include official or unofficial transcripts, grade reports, course completion records, homeschool portfolios, prior registration confirmation, online course records, attendance records, course descriptions, work samples, or other academic documentation requested by SSA.

Enrollment in this service does not guarantee that a diploma will be issued. SSA must be able to verify that the student has met graduation requirements and that the academic record is sufficient for transcript and diploma issuance. If the student is missing required credits, has insufficient documentation, or needs additional coursework, SSA may require additional courses, assessment, documentation, or fees before graduation can be approved.

Adult High School Diploma Completion Pathway

For self-directed adult learners who are close to graduation

SSA offers a limited Adult High School Diploma Completion option for adult learners who have already earned substantial high school credit and need a small number of remaining courses to complete graduation requirements.

This option is designed for motivated, independent adult students who are able to complete online coursework with limited school oversight. It is not a full adult education program, GED preparation program, tutoring program, or daily academic coaching program.

Before enrollment is approved, SSA will review the student’s prior academic records to determine whether the student is a good fit for this option. Enrollment is not guaranteed. Students who need extensive coursework, intensive support, frequent reminders, daily accountability, or significant academic remediation may be referred to another adult education option.

The Adult High School Diploma Completion option may includes:

  • Review of prior high school records

  • Credit evaluation

  • Individualized graduation completion plan

  • Access to approved online coursework for remaining required credits

  • Final transcript review

  • Diploma processing for qualifying students

  • One final official transcript

Adult High School Diploma Completion Pathway — starting at $1,800

The starting price includes transcript review, credit evaluation, an individualized graduation completion plan, school oversight, diploma processing, one final official transcript, and up to 2 full credits or the equivalent of approved online coursework. Students requiring additional coursework beyond the included credits may continue at standard course tuition rates: $250 per semester course; $500 per full-credit course. Final cost depends on the number of credits needed, the student’s prior records, and graduation requirements.
