Dive into the fascinating world beneath the waves! This engaging, hands-on Marine Science course introduces students to ocean ecosystems, marine life, and the incredible natural environments found along Florida’s coastlines.
 
Students will explore ocean currents, tides, underwater geography, coral reefs, and marine food webs while discovering amazing creatures such as sharks, dolphins, sea turtles, whales, and other ocean inhabitants in this half year course. Special attention is given to Florida’s beaches, barrier islands, mangroves, and coastal habitats, as well as the importance of ocean conservation.
 
Through interactive experiments, creative projects, scientific investigations, and real-world applications, students will develop a deeper understanding of marine environments and the challenges facing our oceans.
